Naval Engineering in Olbia, planned the orientation tests in March
On its website, the University of Cagliari has published a page to announce the first deadlines of the degree course in Naval Engineering that is offered in Olbia with the support of UniOlbia.
The course is awaiting initial accreditation; once obtained, it will be active from the Academic Year 2024/2025, whose lessons will begin in autumn 2024 in the former Sep buildings in the Roman port of Olbia.
How will the degree course be?
"The course aims to ensure that students have adequate mastery of general scientific content and methods, in order to provide a solid basic scientific, physical, mathematical and chemical culture, as well as the acquisition of specific professional knowledge in the discipline of Naval Engineering - explains the University of Cagliari -. In addition, the Degree Programme is oriented both towards the design aspects and towards the productive, technological and organizational aspects of shipbuilding and systems of production, conversion or energy management".
The orientation tests
Access to the course takes place after passing an admission test for students holding the diploma of upper secondary school or other qualification obtained abroad and recognized as eligible - explains the University of Cagliari -. The orientation test and assessment of initial skills, unique for all cdl of Engineering, takes place with online mode (Test On Line CISIA, hereinafter TOLC) at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture".

The tests are in several sessions, even anticipated, starting from March and can be repeated in case of failure to exceed the threshold provided by the last session of August/ September. These are the dates indicated by the University of Cagliari:
