UniOlbia, from the Region 1 million 620 thousand euros for the academic year 2023/2024

The decentralised universities of Sardinia will have a funding of 7 million 810 thousand euros for the academic year 2023/2024. This was decided by the Regional Council with the resolution of 1 December 2023 number 41/28.

For the promotion of university studies, the Polo University Consortium of Olbia (UniOlbia) is allocated 1,053,500 euros as a flat fee for management costs, administrative and organizational of the university courses established by the University of Sassari at the headquarters of Olbia; 567,319 euros were also allocated to the University of Sassari as a flat-rate fee for the teaching costs of the university courses established at the Olbia office.

Altogether, therefore, the university offer of Olbia will count on 1 million 620 thousand euros. 

The Regional Councillor for Education, Andrea Biancareddu, explained, "with reference to the operating costs of the Consortia, that these entities support the universities in the implementation of decentralised courses of study, performing a strategic and necessary function for the implementation of tertiary education at the service of the development of their territories".
