UniOlbia, from the Region 1 million 600 thousand euros for the academic year 2022/2023

The decentralized universities of Sardinia will have a funding of 8 million euros for the academic year 2022/2023. It has decided the Regional Committee with the resolution of 22 November 2022 issue 35/37.

For the promotion of university studies at the Polo University Consortium of Olbia were allocated 1 million and 102 thousand euros as a flat fee for management, administrative and organizational burdens of university courses of the University of Sassari, which will also have another 555 thousand euros for the teaching of university courses in Olbia. Altogether, therefore, the university offer of Olbia will count on 1 million 657 thousand euros. 

The University Consortium of Nuoro will go 2 million and 774 thousand euros, as a flat fee for university courses set up at the headquarters of Nuoro, of which 1 million and 61 thousand euros for teaching costs and 1 million and 713 thousand euros for management, administrative and organizational costs. Moreover, the share for the didactic burdens of 227 thousand euros will be distributed in favor of the University of the Studies of Cagliari and for 833 thousand euros in favor of the University of the Studies of Sassari.

The University Consortium UNO of Oristano will be provided a fund of 2 million and 596 thousand euros as a flat fee for university courses established at the headquarters of Oristano, of which 1 million and 62 thousand euros for the didactic burdens and 1 million and 533 thousand euros for the managerial, administrative and organizational burdens. The quota for the didactic burdens will be distributed for 532 thousand euros in favor of the University of the Studies of Cagliari and for 529 thousand euros in favor of the University of the Studies of Sassari. 

The President of the Region, Christian Solinas, said in a press release that the decentralised universities "represent a training garrison of vital importance for the territories and help our young people to prepare for the professions, offering them the opportunity to maintain their cultural heritage in Sardinia".

The Councilor for Education, Andrea Biancareddu, is written in the note, "after several meetings with consortia and universities, has decided to expand the scope of eligibility of expenditure related to teaching costs. In order to render the services to the students of quality the expenses connected to study and education trips for the students have been recognized, the realization of integrative didactic activities in the form of seminars, conferences and educational activities of the universities and the same provided in the teaching offer of each course".
