Indicate any equipment that could be used by students for experimental laboratory activities: "During the laboratory activities, the students will be able to collaborate with the technical office, interacting in terms of design, programming and management of the workings on board the vessels. It will be fundamental, the coordination with the various operating sectors of the yard, so as to be able to supply information and solutions of technical nature, in the Service as well as in the production. It is also important the figure of the Project Manager, who sometimes takes care of managing and reporting the resources and information of the technical office, administrative office and purchases, taking into account the timing and costs of the work. Students will be able to relate to this figure, in order to have a complete view of the activities that take place daily, both in the production and in the Service. During the laboratory activities it is possible to experiment the realization of moulds, generated by 3D cad models and milled by using a 9-axis CNC Robot".

Expected professional profile: "Knowledge and competence in the use of 3D modeling programs and CAD. Theoretical knowledge of mechanics and shipbuilding, various technologies and production processes. Hydrostatic calculations and load exponents. Knowledge of materials, such as glass fibers, composites, steels and alloys. Theoretical knowledge of electrical systems , mechanics and different propulsion systems. Knowledge of the structures and calculations for the sizing of the latter. Knowledge of regulations in the field of design, construction and classification. Management of resources and knowledge of the tools of the various operating sectors".

Valdettaro Group

The Valdettaro group, for over 30 years, has been working in the economy of the sea, on a dual front: shipbuilding and hospitality tourism. Implementation of the strategy to achieve carbon neutrality".

Indicate any equipment that could be used by students for experimental laboratory activities: "Travel lift tank for the study of dynamic fluid. Operational programs/ management, for operational planning and work".

Tender One (G-Tender)

The company designs, engineers and builds pneumatic boats from 8 to 15 meters. Performs all ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on boats and inflatables and lease inflatables. The base of operations is in Olbia.

Indicate any equipment that could be used by students for experimental laboratory activities: "Production management software, ship design software".

Expected professional profile: "Naval engineer with production skills, research and development assignments, research of new materials and new construction methods, knowledge of all on-board electronics and home automation".

Elicapital (Elica Yachts)

The company operates in the nautical sector carrying out activities of purchase and sale of used yachts through the commercial division called Elica Yachts and the activities of maintenance, refit and repair of boats through the technical division called ONE Officine Navali Elica.

Indicate any equipment that could be used by students for experimental laboratory activities: "Instrumentation for design and simulation - Instruments for measuring and inspecting individual aspects of the vessel - Instrumentation for testing engines and propulsion systems - Electronic measuring instruments - Instruments for creating on-board installations - Software for rendering and ship simulation - Tools for control and automation".

Expected professional profile: "A naval engineer with a major in project management. A highly qualified professional who combines a solid foundation of naval engineering skills with the management and leadership skills needed to plan, coordinate and execute complex naval projects. Someone who has a thorough knowledge of the disciplines of naval engineering, including ship design, shipbuilding, stability, strength, propulsion and maritime systems. Also advanced project management skills, including project planning, organization, monitoring and control. Knowledge of the tools and methods of project management".

These companies - and all the others in the nautical district of Olbia - share a common interest: to train naval engineers ready to integrate themselves in an evolving sector, equipped with the skills to face the challenges of production, research and development, and high technology on board.
